Meet the Team - Today: Malte Frederking

Each of them is unique and brings new impulses, so that there is no routine. We've come up with three questions that each of our employees answers - so you can get to know their background! Ready to Meet the Team? Let's go!

Today, three questions go to: Malte Frederking, our head of the service division

H&H: Malte, what are your main areas of expertise?
Malte: I take care of planning service tours for my colleagues and me. If one of our customers requests a service, for example abroad, I schedule additional appointments so that the trip is worthwhile and the travel costs can be shared. I am also responsible for machine maintenance with subsequent machine adjustment and production support, i.e. setting parallelism on the job element and weighing out and setting the grammage to suit the customer's product.

Another task is commissioning and training on new machines with production support. Since we are active in special machine construction, no two machines are alike. Therefore, in most cases, training is tailored to the customer's application. The basic principle of the machines is often the same, but the functions differ depending on the application of the machine. Last but not least, I handle customer inquiries. If customers have a change request or new applications and approach me with their ideas during a service, we sit down internally with the other departments and come up with a solution. If a customer (also Hardo) asks for spare parts, I find the right components for them based on their machine data and pass them on to the spare parts department.

H&H: What are some good reasons to choose H&H as an employer?
Malte: We have a very good working atmosphere with great colleagues. There is a lot of trust in the employees. The daily work routine is varied - no two machines are the same and no two days are the same. There are always interesting projects with new challenges.

H&H: What do you do in your free time?
Malte: I like to cook, do sports and go for walks.
